ABOUT

FILMMAKER WITH AN EYE FOR INTIMATE STORYTELLING

- MY STORY -

As a kid I was incapable of sitting still. Silence — not an option.

One place could captivate my attention and give my lungs a break from the incessant stream of “what if’s” and “why’s” pouring from my mouth — the movies. The dollar theaters showed me a world far beyond what I could see.

Nothing mattered outside of our two seats and screen.

Somewhere during the following decades of sketching on everything, scribbling down random thoughts, and grabbing every instrument within reach; I realized that movies were made by regular people — and they were doing it their own way.

In 2013 I hung up my guitar and enrolled in the Film B.F.A. program at the University of Central Florida — where I learned about the art of cinema, developed synergy within my interest, and turned my wandering creativity into productivity.

In 2016 I flew to NYC with two bags, no money, and equal parts unwavering ambition and vast naivety.  I cut my teeth as a production assistant, briefly dabbled in sound, refined my editing skills, and did a long stint as a camera operator.

Since 2019 I have worked as director, producer, and cinematographer. My passion is small-scale,
independent productions because of the freedom they allow to make bold creative decisions,
explore a variety of interests, and engage more intimately with the medium.
